I am a Board Approved Supervisor for Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselors (PLPC) and Provisionally Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (PLMFT).  I am additionally an Approved Supervisor by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT-AS). I am available to work with professionals pursuing their license as an LPC, an LMFT, or dual licensure.

I believe clinical supervision is an interactive process intended to monitor the quality of client care, improve clinical skills, and facilitate professional and personal growth. I feel that feedback of a supervisee’s clinical case conceptualizations, interventions and their own personal reactions to clients are paramount as is to have a supportive environment in which to do so.

Adjustment to the helping professions can additionally be explored within the supervision process. Although I tend to lean towards systemic theories and interventions, I also believe that growth is required, on my part as well, since I feel the most powerful way to achieve supervision goals is via modeling (isomorphism) versus articulation; though the verbal processing during or after may help to highlight and solidify the learning (for all involved).

My fee structure for supervision is set up with the same philosophy as for therapy services; a reduced flat rate of $50.00 per individual session. Group rates can be negotiated as well.

I use the GroupMe app to collaborate jointly with all of the folks I am supervising. This has blossomed into a wonderfully supportive network for all of us to learn from and assist each other; thereby closing the gap from graduate supervision to licensure supervision.
